English Through Origami

English Through Origami

English Through Origami

In English conversation lessons, pupils explored a rather unusual topic — the delicate art of origami. With colourful origami paper in hand, they learned not only about the history of paper and Japanese paper folding, but also practiced geometrical and mathematical vocabulary such as square, triangle, corner or edge.

The main challenge of the day was to follow English instructions carefully to fold their own paper crane — a traditional and meaningful origami figure. Each student received a special sheet of origami paper and patiently worked step by step, proving both their language and folding skills.

The results were truly impressive! Beautiful cranes filled the classroom, and so did a calm, focused atmosphere. This creative autumn activity helped everyone slow down, test their patience, and forget about everyday worries — at least for a little while.

Learning English has never been so beautifully folded!
